Removal
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Merge cooling liquid and disconnect the top hose of a radiator.
2. Remove the wide hose located between the air filter and a cover of a head.
3. Remove an air inlet hose.
4. Remove a vacuum hose, a hose of giving of fuel and a hose of a cooling liquid.
5. Remove from spark plugs tips of high-voltage wires.
6. Remove the ignition coil.
7. Remove the air chamber.
8. Remove an inlet collector.
9. Remove the heat-shielding screen and a final collector.
10. Remove a pulley of the water pump and a pulley of a cranked shaft.
11. Remove a casing of a gear belt.
12. Move a roller of a tension of a gear belt to the water pump and temporarily fix it in this position.

13. Remove a gear belt.
14. Remove a cover of a head of cylinders.

15. The special tool 09221-21000 in certain sequence turn out bolts of fastening of a head of cylinders.
16. Remove the rests of a lining of a head of cylinders from the hyundai company oem geneune parts block of cylinders and a head of cylinders.
The prevention
At removal of the rests of a lining be careful, that they have not got to channels of the block of cylinders.
Check
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Examine a head of the block of cylinders on absence of damages, cracks, leaks of oil and cooling liquid. If necessary, replace a head of cylinders.
2. Remove a deposit from combustion chambers. Compressed air blow hyundai factory parts channels for greasing.

3. A metal ruler and щупом in six directions check up planeness of a head of the block of cylinders. If necessary a head of the block of cylinders.
The maximum repolishing: 0,08 mm
4. Replace or repair a head of the block of cylinders in the presence of following defects:
– The burnt through saddles of valves;
– Damage of an interfaced surface for installation of inlet and final collectors;
– Damage of nests for installation of oil sealing rings of camshafts.
Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Clear interfaced surfaces of the block of cylinders and a head of cylinders.
2. Establish a new lining of a head of cylinders on the block of cylinders.

3. Screw bolts of fastening of a head of cylinders. In certain sequence tighten bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders in a following order:
And. Tighten bolts the moment of an inhaling 23–27 Н•м;
b. Tighten bolts on a corner 60–62 °;
With. Tighten bolts on a corner 60–62 °.
4. Move a roller of a tension of a gear belt to the water pump and temporarily fix it in this position.
5. Establish a gear belt on a camshaft pulley, thus check up, that adjusting labels of pulleys are combined with indexes.
6. Adjust a tension of a gear belt.
7. Establish a cover of a head of cylinders and fix bolts, having tightened their demanded moment.
The inhaling moment: 8–10 Н•м
8. Establish a casing of a gear belt.
9. Establish a new lining of an inlet collector and an inlet collector. Tighten nuts and bolts the demanded moment.
The inhaling moment: 15–20 Н•м
10. Establish a new lining of a final collector and a final collector. Tighten nuts and bolts the demanded moment.
11. Establish the air chamber and fix bolts and nuts, having tightened their demanded moment.
The inhaling moment: 15–20 Н•м
12. Establish the ignition coil.
13. Establish an air inlet hose.
14. Connect a vacuum hose, a hose of giving of fuel and a hose of a cooling liquid.
15. Establish a wide hose.
